1. Christopher Gayle: RCB vs PWI in IPL 2010

Chris Gayle, popularly known as “The Universe Boss,” is one of the best left-handed opening batsmen. Chris Gayle is an IPL and T20 cricket legend. He holds the record for the fastest century in IPL History. He is a highly destructive batsman, and his hundred against Pune Warriors India in 2013 was one of the tournament’s greatest performances in the History of IPL.

On 23 April 2013 at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore, He scored  175 runs not out in 66 balls, including 13 fours and 17 sixes which is the all-time Highest Individual Score in IPL history & T20 Cricket. Chris Gayle Batting helped team RCB to establish a record for the highest team score in IPL history (263/5. In the end, RCB won the match by 132 runs against Pune Warriors & Chris Gayle was awarded the Player of the Match.

2. Yusuf Pathan: RR vs MI in IPL 2010

Yusuf Pathan, a Rajasthan Royals Right Hand Middle Order Batsman, is noted for his explosive batting and powerful batter in Cricket. In 2010, he set the record for the fastest century in the IPL. Yusuf Pathan is the second-fastest 100 in IPL history after Gayle, but he also owns the distinction of being the first Indian player to smash a century in 37 balls in IPL history. 

On 13 March 2010 at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai, he smashed 100 runs in 37 balls, including 8 fours while 9 sixes and he was runout against Mumbai Indians. In the End of the Match Rajasthan lost the match by 4 runs, but Pathan was named Player of the Match.

3. David Miller: KXIP vs RCB in IPL 2013

In the IPL, David Miller is famous for his aggressive batting style, which allows him to knock massive sixes. He has represented multiple IPL teams, including Kings XI Punjab, Rajasthan Royals, and now in Gujarat Titans. Miller’s third-fastest century in the IPL showed his batsmanship and ability to perform under pressure. 

Miller walked in to bat with the team struggling at 54/3 on May 6, 2013, at Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, facing the difficult challenge of taking on opponent bowlers. However, he proved his ability and control by smashing an unbeatable 101 not-out runs off just 38 balls, including 4 fours and 9 sixes, which was his own Highest Individual Score in his IPL career and also led his team KXIP to a 6 wicket victory over RCB. 4. Adam Gilchrist : DC vs MI in IPL 2008

We are all familiar without a doubt, he is one of the finest wicket-keepers and dangerous opening batsmen in cricket history. In the IPL, he was the former captain of the Deccan Chargers Hyderabad. Adam Gilchrist is the fourth fastest century scorer in IPL history who finished his 100 runs in 42 balls. 

DC vs MI On April 27, 2008, chasing an adequate total of 155 runs at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai, Gilchrist came out blasting, hitting 9 fours while 10 sixes and smashed 109 runs Not Out in just 47 balls, as Deccan won by 10 wickets against Mumbai Indians, and he became the Player of the Match.

5. AB de Villiers : RCB vs GT in IPL 2016

Right Hand Top Order Batsman AB de Villiers also known as Mr. 360 for his Batting Skills, played for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL. He is ranked fifth in the list of fastest centuries scored in IPL history who scored 100 runs in only 43 balls.

RCB vs GT On May 14, 2016, he played brilliantly and scored a stunning century at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. On that day, AB and Kholi established an IPL record for the highest partnership in IPL history by 229 runs. AB de Villiers smashed an unstoppable 129 not-out runs off 52 balls, including 10 fours and 12 sixes, and Virat Kohli hit 109 off 55 balls, including 5 fours and 8 sixes, as Bangalore defeated Gujarat by 144 runs. AB de Villiers was selected as the Match’s Player based on his incredible performance. 

6. David Warner : RH  vs KKR in IPl 2017

David Warner is recognized in the cricket world for his explosive batting. At the time, he was playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad as a left-handed opening batsman. David Warner currently shares this IPL  Record with AB Devillas in the list of fastest centuries scored in IPL history. D Warner and AB Devillas finished their 100 runs in just 43 balls.

SRH vs KKR On April 30, 2017, in Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. SRH played first, and Warner set the tone by scoring 126 off 59 balls, including 10 fours along with 8 sixes, to enable Sunrisers Hyderabad to register a score of 209/3 and defeat Kolkata by 48 runs. Warner was selected as Player of the Match for his remarkable Game.

7. Sanath Jayasuriya: MI  vs CSK in IPL 2008

Sanath Jayasuriya was famous for his aggressive or attacking batting style and was considered one of the best all-rounders in cricket history. He was a Left Hand Opening Batsman for the Mumbai Indians in the IPL, alongside Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar. Sanath Jayasuriya is seventh on the list of the fastest hundred in IPL history. He finished his 100 runs in just 45 balls.

8. Mayank Agarwal: KXIP  vs RR in IPL 2011

Mayank Agarwal is one of the second Indian batsmen who have scored the fastest hundred in IPL history after Yusuf Pathan. Mayank Agarwal made his IPL debut in 2011, and he has since played for multiple teams in the IPL, including Kings XI Punjab, Rising Pune Supergiant, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Sunrisers Hyderabad. He was a right-handed opening batsman for the Kings XI Punjab In the IPL 2020. Mayank Agarwal is currently tied with Sanath Jayasuriya for the fastest century recorded in IPL history. Sanath Jayasuriya and Mayank Agarwal score 100 runs in 45 balls in different IPL sessions.

Kings XI Punjab won the toss and opted to bat first against Rajasthan Royals on September 27, 2020, at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Mayank Agarwal, Punjab’s opening batsman, turned out a great performance that day. He scored 106 runs off 50 balls, including 10 fours and 7 sixes. But Punjab lost the match by four wickets, and Sanju Samson was awarded Player of the Match for his outstanding performance, smashing 85 off 42 balls.

9. Murli Vijay: CSK vs RR in IPL 2010

Murali Vijay is the third Indian batsman, behind Yusuf Pathan and Mayank Agarwal, to have smashed the fastest hundred in IPL history. Murali Vijay debuted in the IPL in 2009 as a right-handed opening batsman for the Chennai Super Kings. Murali Vijay is the eighth player on the list of the fastest hundred in IPL history, having scored 100 runs in just 46 balls.

CSK vs. RR on 3rd April 2010, in Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium. On that day, the Chennai Super Kings won the toss and decided to bat first against the Rajasthan Royals. Murali Vijay performed brilliantly in that match, scoring 127 runs off 56 balls, including 8 fours as well as 11 sixes, and also helped CSK set a record for the highest CSK team score in IPL history (246/5). Murali Vijay was named Player of the Match for his extraordinary effort, which resulted in CSK defeating RR by a margin of 23 runs. 

10. Chris Gayle: RCB vs KXIP in IPL 2011

Chris Gayle is a Royal Challengers Bangalore left-handed opening batsman who set three fastest hundreds records in IPL history in 2011, 2013, and 2015, winning him the title of “The Universal Boss.” Chris Gayle is the first player in IPL history to have the first, tenth, and eleventh fastest 100 in IPL history. He scored twice and finished with 100 runs in just 46 balls.

Chris Gayle completed his century in 46 balls and scored 107 runs in 49 balls against Kings XI Punjab at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. It holds 10 fours and 9 sixes, contributing to RCB’s total of 205/6. Chris Gayle was awarded Player of the Match for his extraordinary effort, which led to RCB defeating KXIP by 85 runs.

Chris Gayle smash his century in 46 balls and scored 117 runs in just 57 balls, including 7 fours and 12 sixes, to help RCB register a score of 226/3 and defeat Punjab by 138 runs. Chris Gayle was awarded Player of the Match for his remarkable Game.
